JUNE 1 - WORLD MILK DAY

  On June 1, Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations celebrates World Milk Day to recognize milk as a global food. The event, first celebrated in 2001, also seeks to draw attention of the people towards development of dairy sector.

JUNE 5- WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY

  June 5 is a landmark day to raise awareness on environment issues and their fallout. It stresses on the need to protect the environment by reaching out to the people across the world.

JUNE 7- WORLD FOOD SAFETY DAY

    In December 2018 the General Assembly decided to designate June 7 as World Food Safety Day. It focuses on recognizing the vital role of food safety to uplift the level of nutrition and promote food safety to incentivise healthy diets.

JUNE 14- BLOOD DONOR DAY

  The day is celebrated on June 14 across the globe to raise awareness on the importance of safe blood products and to extend gratitude to those who donate blood to save the lives of those in need. The annual event, which is part of eight official global health campaigns, took off in 2004 under the World Health Organisation (WHO) umbrella.

JUNE 21- INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY

 Celebrated annually on June 21, it was conceived by United Nations General Assembly and was proclaimed on 11 December 2014. The day focuses on raising awareness about the benefits of practicing Yoga.
